“THE TOY STORY” – DECEMBER 14
This special Christmas play will be performed by our very own NLCC children on Sunday, December 14. The toys in the play will tell the story of Jesus’ birth. Practices will be Sunday nights from 6:00 – 7:30 pm here at the church. There are parts for all children, Kindergarten through 6th grade. Parents, while your kids practices, you can enjoy the “Journey through the Bible” study.

THANKSGIVING BLESSINGS
We would love to be able to bless several families with an entire Thanksgiving dinner during this special Thanksgiving season and we need your help. Pick up a grocery bag back at the Welcome Booth. Please take the bag, purchase the suggested items on the grocery list and bring the “filled” bag back to church by Saturday November 22. Deliveries will be made on the 22nd. This exciting 8-week Small Group study is for New and Renewing Believers. The class meets at 7 PM Thursdays, at NLCC. Taught by Bob Tomlinson and Shane Hirsch, STEPS will help ground you in important issues like:
- Assurance of Salvation
- Prayer
- Understanding Scripture
- Handling Temptation
- Forgiveness
- Other essential topics

THE BIGGEST LOSER ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP BEGINS AT NEW LIFE COMMUNITY CHURCH TODAY!
It’s not too late to join this weight loss accountability group. This will involve a weekly weigh-in and your commitment. Diane Dillon, our coordinator, will offer tidbits of information, scripture references, words of encouragement, and updates on people who are looking for a work-out buddy or who is doing what & when, so that anyone else can join them. There will be No weekly meetings, no time out of your already busy schedules… just accountability. Weekly results will be sent out to the BL participants only charting the weight loss percentages. So… are you ready?
Weigh-in is immediately following the morning service. If you’d like to join, please see Diane Dillon today so that she can get you logged into a spread sheet and into the email list.
- “FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY” –There will be a free lunch preview August 31 after the service at 12:30 pm. Over a million people have benefited from these solid financial principles of common-sense money management. We will start this 13-week class the middle of September. See Cindy Dillon for your FPU kit – Cost - $93. Get you and your family on the road to Financial Peace! If you are planning to attend the preview lunch, please sign up on the sheet at the Welcome Booth. if no one signs up, we will postpone the preview.

Ladies - Do you love receiving handmade cards and would you like to be able to send handmade Christmas cards this year? Then come for a couple hours of fun and creating your own set of cards, Wed., November 19 from 7-8:30 pm in our new building. $5 will cover the cost of materials and snacks.

Joyce Meyer Ministries Conference Tour ’08 - November 20-22 at Lakewood Church. Each session will include a powerful message from Joyce, and Delirious? will be leading worship. We will plan to carpool from the church. Any lady interested in attending, please see Cindy Martin.
