Our Vision
We envision hundreds of smiling people arriving early for Sunday
worship because they just can’t wait to get there. There is a
buzz of activity as adults, teens and children, filled with concern
for one another, come to celebrate Jesus in one accord!
Our Inspiring Worship begins as an excited group of gifted musicians
and singers fill the atmosphere with contagious praise! People
come with expectancy, and leave knowing they’ll never be the same
because they have experienced the awesome presence of God.
We see the tremendous value and potential in every individual
and cherish the opportunity to teach them more about their faith
and foster their Growth in Spiritual Maturity. We value the creative,
God-given talents in everyone and empower them to discover and
use these gifts in passionate ministry as fully devoted followers
of Jesus Christ. We welcome their fresh, new insights into helping
effectively reach our community and fulfill our mission as a church.
We envision a church where friendly Small Groups serve as a model
of genuine, biblical community. Individuals from all walks of
life will find healing, forgiveness, lasting relationships, encouragement,
moral accountability, and unconditional love. We equip believers
to enter neighborhoods, schools and businesses with small groups
that can effectively represent the presence of Christ in the community.
We envision a church where a young couple begins their lives
together as one of many successful, Christ-Centered Families.
When they experience the birth of their first child we will help
to ease their worries. Their children will thrive during the challenges
of the school-age years because of the spiritual “Aunts and Uncles”
who are committed to their growth and development. As their kids
become new teenagers we see a youth group, on fire for the Lord,
drawing them into a thriving youth ministry. When their children
are mature enough to live for God on their own we’ll help Mom
and Dad adjust to life in the empty nest. And when the kids finally
get married we’ll sing, dance and happily start the process all
over again with future grandchildren.
We envision a church that knows no bounds or limitations to God’s
miraculous power. We know that Prayer is the driving force, which
moves the hand of God and makes the impossible possible!
We envision New Life Community Church Sharing the Good News of
Christ’s death and resurrection with thousands of people in the
greater Tomball area, and many of them accepting Christ as Savior.
We see our members responding with compassion to the needs of
families in our community, especially in the areas relevant to
parenting, finances, marriage, singleness, depression, and addiction.
We will join forces with other faith-based organizations to address
those needs that God has better equipped them to meet. We envision
giving people and resources to start new churches so that every
neighboring community will have a vital witness of the power of
Christ to change lives. We envision the greater Tomball Christian
community, united and working together to reach the area for Jesus
Christ and serve as a worldwide model for fulfilling the Great
Commission in our generation.
